There’s been a lot of back & forth over the last few issues of the papers on the “FOR” and “AGAINST” sides of the advisory vote. The Sammamish Review has supported the affirmative vote, as have Council Members Valderrama and Whitten. We thank them for the stance and encouragement to give the citizens of our city a larger voice. Keep your eyes on the papers for additional letters to the editor on the topic. Former Planning Commission, Scott Hamilton, has posted some very insightful things on his blog on the topic, namely that the council could go against the will of the people on the vote.
