City Hall is likely to be packed on Tuesday night as the council hears from Kevin Brown, King County Director of Parks and Recreation, on the Trail issue (particularly Section 2A). The February 17th council meeting was particularly critical of the county’s handling of the issue. These photos show what an 18′ trail will do to sections of the trail. The entire presentation is here: East Lake Sammamish Trail Presentation 12-4, but here’s a few photos just for quick reference. Photos/presentation were provided by SHO to CFS & released as public record by the City. Scott Hamilton’s blog (Sammamish Comment) also speaks to the upcoming council meeting and gets into greater detail. That can be read here.
Note: CFS’s next meeting is TONIGHT, come to the CFS meeting as this is a topic we’ll be discussing: 7pm, Fire Station #82 on 228th.
