Comprehensive Plan Rewrite: Public Open House

Join fellow CFS members this Tuesday evening in council chambers as the city’s comprehensive plan is discussed.  There will be an opportunity to have your own voice heard:

The Sammamish Planning Commission is holding a public open house regarding the Sammamish Comprehensive Plan Rewrite at the Sammamish City Hall on January 20, 2015 from
5:30 to 7:00 pm.

Beginning in late 2013, the Sammamish Planning Commission has been focused on an update and rewrite of the Sammamish Comprehensive Plan. You are invited to an informal opportunity to review the highlights of their work to date and share your thoughts. The open house will include displays of Planning Commission recommendations for the Comprehensive Plan, the preliminary vision statement and upcoming opportunities for additional public comment. Your participation and input will be very valuable. We hope to see you there!

The City has undertaken this process of updating the Comprehensive Plan to meet the requirements of the Washington Growth Management Act. When adopted by the City Council, the updated Plan will be a blueprint for the future character of the city.
